These days, social media is very popular among teenagers. They have easy access to it and many of them like it. However, Social media has several drawbacks especially among teenagers. 

Firstly, social media has created FOMO, which stands for fear of missing out.It makes us insecure because we compare lives with others. Besides. FoMo hampers teenagers to achieve learning goals. 

Secondly, it causes over-connectivity in cyberspace. Being ‘always connected’ in cyberspace has pushed away from social interaction in the real world. Surely, This situation has shifted parents’ pivotal roles in guiding their children with religious and moral values in society. 

Thirdly, Bullying is another bad impact of social media. It is spread through any materials posted on social media, such as pictures, status or videos. Of course it disturbs mental health.

Overall, social media presents some bad impacts such as FoMo,addiction to it, and cyberbullying.
